I. Objectives:
Listen to a paragraph for details the activities taking place in an emergency room.
By the end of the lesson , Ss will be able to know how to listen for details
II. Language contents:
Grammar: Review Present progressive tense

 2. Vocabulary: stretcher, crutches, wheelchair, scale, eyes chart 
III. Techniques: matching, what and where 
IV. Teaching aids: Projector
V. Procedures:
Teacher’s and Students’ activities
Content
-T asks Ss to match column A with column B 
- Ss match them
- T calls on several Ss to match in front of the class
- T corrects if necessary
-T presents new words
-T uses the pictures to introduce new words
-Ss copy 
- Have Ss play game “what and where ” to check new words
- Have Ss play game “matching”
-Rub out the letter ( A , B , ) but leaves the words
-Tell Ss they are going to listen a paragraph about the activities taking place in an emergency room which contains the words on the board 
- Put the words in the table
- Have Ss copy and guess the order of the words
- Play the tape and ask Ss to listen
-Ask Ss to give their answers and correct
-Stick the chart with the statement on the board
- Ask Ss work in pairs to decide which of statements is true and which is false
-Play the tape and have Ss listen (2 or 3 times)
- Ask Ss to give their answers and correct 
- Ask Ss to write the story about the activities in the pictures , using the Present continuous
