1. Warm up / Marks (5 minutes)
à Questions:
1/ Where did Mrs Quyen and her husband spend their holiday? ( " in the USA)
2/ What did they see on Mount Rushmore?
(" The heads of four America Presidents carved into the rock)
-T. explains new words
-Ss listen and copy
-Ss look at the postcard on page 118 and complete the gaps with the appropriate words
-Call on some Ss to go to the board and write the world they guess
-Give feedback and correct
-Write the topic on the board. Ask Ss to read the postcard (write 1) again and fill in the gaps with the sentences showing the information on the left
-Ss work in groups

3. While-writing (20 minutes)
Ø Set the scene:
 “Imagine you are a tourist on vacation in a certain place/ city in Vietnam. Write a postcard to a friend about your trip, using the information in the grid”
Ø Writing
-Call on some Ss to the front of the class and ask them to read their postcards to the whole class.
-Give feedback and correct
