	Any invention has both good and bad effects on human beings. 
	The invention of cars makes transportation much easier, but it is cars that are the greatest contributor of air pollution. Television is considered as the most wonderful means of amusement and entertainment. It’s also very useful to spread news. However, spending many hours watching TV makes bad effects on the eyes of viewers and makes viewers become less creative. People make wine to enjoy themselves but it is wine that has bad effects on their mental and physical health. Fertilizers and pesticides help farmer get a success of good harvest, but they are the factors that make soil poisonous. Nuclear power is considered as the only alternative energy but we may be in danger of destruction by its radioactivity.
	The purpose of any invention is to make our lives better, so good or bad, it depends on the way by which we use these inventions.

Many people still believe that natural resources will never be used up. Actually, the world’s energy resources are limited. Nobody knows exactly how much fuel is left. However, we also should use them economically and try to find out alternative sources of power. According to Professor Marvin Burnham of the New England Institute of Technology, we have to start conserving coal, oil, and gas before it is too late; and nuclear power is the only alternative.
	However, many people do not approve of using nuclear power because it is very dangerous. What would happen if there were a serious nuclear accidents? Radioactivity causes cancer and may bad effect the future generations.
	The most effective thing is that we should use natural resources as economically as possible.

John Travolta was born in 1954 in New Jersey. He was the youngest of six children. In 1975, he played in a TV programme called Welcome Back Kotter. The programme was very popular Travolta became famous. Then he started movies and acted in several successful films. They included Saturday Night Fever and Grease. Audiences liked his acting and dacing.
In 1977, things suddenly went wrong. His mother died. Travolta said it was the worst time of his life. He made several unsuccessful films, and thought about giving up as an actor. He was a pilot and had three planes, so he considered becoming a full-time pilot.
But then, when he was working on a movie called The Experts in 1987, he met Kelly Preston and they fell in love. They got married and had a son. They had four homes - in California, florida, Maine and Hawaii.
In the mid-nineties, John Travolta's luck as an actor changed for the better. He made some very popular films. For the second time in his career, he became successful.
