I. Aims:
	Ss will be able to express their opinions about a problem

-Grammar: Review present perfect tense
-Vocabulary: (n) printer, manual, socket, guarantee

III. Techniques: brainstorm, bingo
IV. Teaching aids: photocopied picture (page 142), realia, cassette, chart

-Write the topic on the board
-Ask Ss to think of the topic and express their opinions
-Collect Ss’ opinions and write them on the board

2. Pre-reading

-Set the scene:
“Nam and his father, Mr. Nhat are talking about the problem of the computer they’ve just bought. What happens to the computer?”
-Put the chart on the board and have Ss guess which statements are true and which are false
-Call on some pairs to give their answers
-Ask Ss to open their books, read the dialogue on page 138 and listen to the tape
-Have Ss work in pairs again to check if their guesses are right or not
-Give feedback and correct
-Have Ss copy the corrected sentences
-Explain the words: “Fact and Opinion”
-Get Ss to read the statements and check (ü) the suitable boxes
-Call on some Ss to give their answers
-Have Ss copy
3. While-reading
