S 1 + asked + O + if / whether + S2 + Verb (lùi thì)
I. Cách đổi một câu nghi vấn sang gián tiếp	
Example :
	1. Direct : 	She asked me “ Do you like him ? “ 
	Indirect : She asked me if I liked him 
	2. Direct :	Thu asked me “ Will the students have a meeting next week ? “
Indirect :	Thu asked me if the students would have a meeting the following week 
II. Cách chuyển câu hỏi với từ để hỏi 
S1 + asked + O + Wh – qs + S2 + Verb ( lùi thì)
Example 
He asked “ What is her name ? “ 
Indirect : He asked what her name was 
She said to me “ Where does Nam live ?”
Indirect : She asked me where Nam lived
