 (The present continuous tense)
Objectives : 
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
 - Use the present continuous to talk about things happening now;
 - The Present continuous for future
 Teaching procedures

 I .Warm up(5ms) -To help Ss 
 Revision - Answer questions using 
 Ask students to ask and answer using pictures to 
 the given pictures and present consolidate
 continuous tense.
 Eg : What are they doing? Answer: Present 
 They are playing football. continuous 
 Ask students: Which tense do we use? 
 Set the scene tense

 1. Cấu trúc (form)
 A. Khẳng định (affirm)
 - Ss Listen and copy
 S + is/am/are + V_ing + O
 Ex: 
 I am studying English now
 We are reading at the moment
 She is living in Thanh Hoa Province
 Phủ định (negative form)
 S + is/am/are + not + V_ing + O She isn’t walking on the street at this 
moment
 I am not speaking French now
 We aren’t watching TV at present

Is/am/are + S + V_ing + O? - To help 
Ex: Ss to 
Is she cooking now? . - students work on the understand

2. Cách dùng (Usage) future 
 + Thì HTTD diễn tả một hành động đang plans.

Thì HTTD diễn tả hành động đang xảy ra - To help Ss

Thì HTTD dùng để diễn đạt một hành distinguish 
động đang xảy ra mang tính chất tạm thời. action for 
Thì HTTD diễn tả một hành động sẽ xảy now and 
ra trong tương lai gần, có dự định trước action for 
với phó từ chỉ thời gian. future 
. Cách thêm “ing” (Verb_ing) basing on 
- Những động từ kết thúc bằng một phụ adverds of 
âm mà trước nó là một nguyên âm duy time
nhất ta nhân đôi phụ âm cuối rồi thêm 
đuôi “ing”
Những động từ kết thúc là 1 nguyên âm 
“e” trước khi thêm “ing” ta bỏ “e” rồi 
thêm “ing”
