Check understanding. • Ask pupils to find appropriate words to complete the sentence under each picture. • Give them time to do the task independently. Go around offering help, if necessary. • Get pupils to swap their answers before checking as a class. If there is enough time, call some pupils to read aloud the complete sentences.
